Review of Meet Duffy T. McGraw, "Will You Be My Friend"

"What a fantastic book geared towards teaching children acceptance. I love the way the book articulates differences from the perspectives of multiple animals whereby they all learn, with Duffy's help of course, that they have many commonalities and can be friends regardless of their outward appearances. This book takes learning a step further with follow up questions that I was able to ask my 3.5 year old daughter. She was able to identify her friends, what she loves in friendship, why friendship is important and so much more. I love that it also gave her way to work on her counting skills with the questions too. This book is very well rounded and it's no doubt, ideal for teaching children to accept the uniqueness within individuals and find the common ground to establish friendships. Well done! A great gift item for your children and classrooms."
